Aoife Brewster, Massage therapist, clinical massage therapist, myofascia release,

Aoife (pronounced Efa), was born and grew up in southern Ireland and has travelled extensively throughout the world. Since 2008, she has been living with her husband and two beautiful daughters in the lovely hamlet of Serrada, near Alvaiazere, Portugal where they live in a restored old cottage.


Aoife carries out her unique holistic integrated bodywork treatments from her beautiful treatment room at her home. All treatments are individually tailored to each person’s requirements using a combination of techniques from 'Aoife’s tool box', these utilise her gifted intuition and knowledge to achieve the optimum results.

Strongly believing in the power of “informed touch” with positive focused intention, and treating the mind, body and spirit, she also works on outcome based treatments with pain and mobility dis-eases.  In these cases, her main focus is reducing clients musculo-skeletal pain within 1-6, weekly, clinical sessions which will increase range of motion and move them towards a more optimal, functional and pain free body. 

Aoife has been a professional bodywork practitioner since 2001 and has trained in a range of therapies including Advanced Clinical Massage specialising in myofascia release (MFR), which allows MFR unwinding. Aoife has diplomas in advanced reflexology, anatomy, physiology & pathology, Indian head massage and aromatherapy massage. She is a certified Reiki practitioner and holds a certificate of achievement in Thai massage from Wot Poh in Bangkok, Thailand and is trained to do pedicures.

Aoife is registered with the Federation of Holistic Therapists in the UK and trained at the city college and Jing Institute of advanced massage training in Brighton, UK.  All the training Aoife has had in soft tissue work is to the most up-to-date UK standard, she is a soft tissue expert who also understands that working with the body is a never ending learning experience so continues her training and self-studies to maintain her goal of excellence as a complementary therapist. She believes in treating the mind, body and spirit for optimal balance throughout the body’s systems. 

She supports her local paramedics as trainee paramedic 2 nights each month on a volunteer basis.

Beyond her private clinic she also works at various retreats and villas.
